Research, Research, and More Research!

If there's one stroke of advice that I can give anyone, it's that if you want to succeed you have to compile information on what you're working towards. These last few months have been so lucrative, not only am I putting together information for the beginners and curious spectators, I've also learned so much in such a small amount of time.

In essence, doing all of this has forced me to spend a good amount of time on different aspects of this movement that I would've never journeyed down before, and for that, I would like to say "Thank you!"

But where to look for all this information?
“Books are a uniquely portable magic.”
Stephen King, On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft

Well, there are books to start out with. Libraries, Online resources and of course physical copies all do well. You can find many different authors with many different viewpoints. Even if another's opinion about an author is not very positive, it may be worth a read to understand every aspect of choosing what you want to believe.

Online forums are also a good way to connect to other Pagans and get their perspective on different things. Take the advice that you feel will work the best with what you're practicing but keep in mind the possibility of adding different things you experience through others. It's important to keep your mind open.

And honestly, experiencing things first-hand help a lot too. Want to learn a spell to help you sleep at night? Practice different ones until you find a spell that finally works for you, and then practice it every night until you've mastered it. Do you want to learn how to perform a ritual? Find a ritual that seems easier for beginners and practice it until you've memorized it.

Experience and failure are the best teachers, so don't beat yourself up if something doesn't work out. Learn from it, expand and grow.

While I will always strive to provide information that will be helpful for your journey, my viewpoints aren't the only views. I only hope that what I can provide for you is part of what you take with you while you walk your path.

Bright Blessings.
